What we do not do
The recruitment market is full of bad practice. Here is what we refuse to do.
We do not charge candidates upfront. Employers cover service costs.
We do not place workers in informal or undocumented positions.
We do not work with employers who do not provide accommodation.
We do not promise jobs we cannot legally support.
Asia Work provides a turnkey recruitment service for foreign workers coming to Ukraine. "Turnkey" means we handle every stage of the process: finding a job, obtaining a work permit, processing the D visa, and supporting your arrival. You deal with one team from start to finish. That team is based in Kyiv, operates under Ukrainian law, and works directly with Ukrainian employers and government agencies.
This page explains exactly what our service includes, what it does not include, and how it compares to doing everything on your own.
Four Pillars of Our Service
1. Job Placement
We match foreign workers with verified Ukrainian employers based on skills, experience, and preferences.
What this includes:
- •Review of your qualifications, work history, and professional certificates
- •Matching with open positions from our employer database across manufacturing, construction, logistics, hospitality, and other sectors
- •Presentation of a concrete job offer — with specified salary, work location, contract duration, and working conditions
- •Pre-employment interview coordination between you and the employer (video call or phone)
- •Employment contract review before you sign
What you receive: A signed employment offer from a verified Ukrainian company, specifying your role, monthly salary, working hours, accommodation terms, and contract length.
Asia Work maintains direct contracts with Ukrainian employers. We do not subcontract placements to other agencies inside Ukraine. When you receive an offer through us, it comes directly from the employer who will hire you.
2. Work Permit Processing
The work permit (Дозвіл на роботу) is the legal foundation for foreign employment in Ukraine. Without it, working in Ukraine is illegal.
What this includes:
- •Document collection and verification — we check every certificate, diploma, and ID before submission
- •Ukrainian translation and notarization of educational documents (handled at our Kyiv office)
- •Preparation of the employer's application package for the State Employment Service
- •Submission and tracking of the application through the government system
- •Resolution of any objections or requests for additional documents from the Employment Service
Timeline: 14 to 21 working days after submission. Our legal team monitors the application status daily and communicates updates via email or WhatsApp.
Cost to the candidate: Zero. The employer covers all work permit fees as part of our service agreement. Read our detailed work permit guide for the full step-by-step process.
3. D Visa (D-03) Support
After the work permit is approved, you apply for a D-03 work visa at the Ukrainian consulate in your home country.
What this includes:
- •Preparation of the complete visa application document package
- •Pre-submission review to catch errors that cause rejections (wrong photo size, missing apostille, expired certificates)
- •Guidance on consulate appointment booking for your specific location (Delhi, Mumbai, Islamabad, Dhaka, Hanoi, Manila, etc.)
- •Written instructions for the consulate interview — what to expect, what to bring, what to say
- •Post-submission tracking until the visa is stamped in your passport
Common rejection reasons we prevent: Mismatched names between passport and work permit, untranslated documents, photos that don't meet consulate specifications, missing invitation letter. Our pre-submission review catches these before you go to the consulate.
4. Arrival and Settlement Support
Your first days in Ukraine determine how smoothly you adjust to work and life here.
What this includes:
- •Travel logistics advice — flight routes, transit visa arrangements (including Moldova transit when needed), baggage guidelines
- •Airport or border crossing pickup by our team member
- •Transport to your accommodation (employer-provided or arranged by us)
- •Accompaniment to the workplace on your first day
- •Assistance with local SIM card, bank account, and registration at the migration service
- •7-day support period — our team is available by phone and WhatsApp for any issues during your first week
What We Don't Do
Transparency matters. Here is what Asia Work does not provide:
- •We don't charge candidates. If someone asks you to pay Asia Work for job placement, it is a scam. Report it to info@asiawork.com.ua immediately.
- •We don't guarantee specific salaries. Salaries depend on the employer, position, and your qualifications. We present actual offers with real numbers — not inflated promises.
- •We don't provide medical insurance. Ukrainian employers are required by law to provide workplace injury coverage. For personal health insurance, we recommend purchasing a policy before departure.
- •We don't offer immigration advice beyond employment. Our expertise is work permits and D visas. For permanent immigration, citizenship, or asylum matters, consult a licensed immigration attorney.
- •We don't operate in countries where we lack consulate relationships. Our service covers countries where Ukrainian consulates process D visas and where we have verified agency partners.
Verified Employers Only
Every Ukrainian employer in our network has been verified through a multi-step process:
- •Legal status check — active company registration, no tax debt, no outstanding labour violations
- •Workplace inspection — our team visits the facility to verify working conditions, safety equipment, and accommodation
- •Contract review — employment contracts are reviewed by our legal team to confirm they meet Ukrainian labour law standards
- •Payment history — we verify the employer has a track record of paying foreign workers on time and in full
- •Ongoing monitoring — we maintain contact with placed workers and investigate any complaints within 48 hours
If an employer fails any of these checks, we remove them from our network. We have rejected employers who offered below-minimum wages, unsafe working conditions, or misleading job descriptions.
Compared to DIY
Some workers attempt to find Ukrainian jobs and process documents independently. Here is how that compares:
| Asia Work | DIY | |
|---|---|---|
| Job search | Matched with verified employer | Cold applications, job boards, unverified contacts |
| Work permit | Handled by our legal team in Kyiv | Employer must file alone — requires Ukrainian legal knowledge |
| D visa documents | Pre-checked, complete package | Self-prepared — high rejection rate at consulates |
| Cost to worker | Free — employer pays | Varies — risk of paying unverified agents |
| Arrival support | Airport pickup, first-week assistance | On your own |
| Problem resolution | Direct line to our Kyiv office | No local advocate |
| Timeline | 45–60 days | 3–6 months (if successful) |
The biggest risk of the DIY path is document rejection. Work permit applications with incorrect or incomplete documents are returned without processing, adding weeks or months to the timeline. Consular visa rejections require a full re-application. Our pre-submission review process eliminates these delays.
Service Standards
Asia Work operates under these standards for every placement:
- •24-hour response time — every application, email, and WhatsApp message receives a response within 24 hours on business days
- •Weekly status updates — during work permit and visa processing, you receive a written update every 7 days
- •Single point of contact — one case manager handles your file from application to arrival
- •Ukrainian and English communication — all correspondence available in English. Hindi, Urdu, and Vietnamese support available through partner agencies.
- •Document security — all personal documents are stored in encrypted systems and shared only with the employer and relevant government agencies
